UPDATE: Surveillance Video: Burglars Steal Safe from Kretzler's Tavern in Ross Township

Ross Township police are investigating an burglary early Friday morning at Kretzler's Tavern at 2240 Babcock Boulevard.
Two white men broke through the rear door of the restaurant shortly before 3 a.m., according to Detective Brian Kohlhepp.
"They removed a small floor safe with an undetermined amount of money," Kohlhepp said. "They then fled the area in a non-descript four-door car."
The crime was caught on tape by a surveillance camera.
Anyone with any information about the break-in is asked to call Ross police at 412-931-9070.

its simple Amos - DRUGS! A shame but i have a young adult child who tells me almost all she graduated with from North Hills HS and the surrounding schools are on drugs- Meth & Heroin are extremely available and these young adults are desperate for quick cash. A shame but I know the Ross & West View Police have been extremely busy with the rise in crime. ( LOCK YOUR DOORS!)

This one should be quick! Super inside job. Look how guy #2 keeps his back to the camera. Then he panics and tries to shield the face of guy #1 when he turns toward the camera.
Only someone with intimate knowledge of Kretzlers would know that there was a camera in that location exact location.

Should be able to zoom in on that guy's face nicely. I read something recently about new pixelation zoom-in software the FBI has that probably even works on video cam footage.

Amos... I don't think there is any more crime in Ross than there was before. I think this new Chief of Police they have is more open with the community regarding what exactly is going on out there. And what's going on out there is scary!
