Soprano Jackie Evancho completed a Got Talent trifecta when she performed "Angel" as a special guest on Monday night's finale of Canada's Got Talent.

The 12-year-old soprano from Richland Township rocketed to fame on America's Got Talent in 2010 and performed on Britain's Got Talent in 2011.

Host Dina Pugliese called her "an angel on earth" after Jackie performed the song from her Dream With Me CD.

"Beautiful job, sweetheart," Pugliese said. "Sounding wonderful as always."

Noting that Jackie was a finalist on America's Got Talent, Pugliese asked what it felt like to be in the finale as Monday night's Canadian contestants were.

"I felt very nervous and excited at the same time and I just really wanted to get on the stage and just have so much fun," Jackie said.

"I know that it's a very rough time and you really just want to know what's going to happen. But, I mean, whatever happens happens.

"And you know, just because you don't win doesn't mean you're not great. You should always just keep going for your dreams."

Pugliese then asked Jackie how she balances school with traveling all over the world.

"We kinda schedule it in. I usually do school in the morning. When I'm home I do a lot of school so I can catch up. And lately school's been super fun and I'm learning a lot of fun stuff in math and I'm really enjoying it."

Pugliese gave Jackie "an A plus plus" for saying she enjoyed math, then reminded viewers that the soprano's new album comes out in September.

She has a great deal of talent, but she needs a good voice teacher to teach her correct vocal technique. She drops her larynx to get that more mature sound (potentially very damaging to the voice) audibly gulps for air every few notes, doesn't support the tone, strains on the top notes, wobbles her chin in an effort to produce more of a vibrato when her vibrato is already too prominent. Poor technique can seriously damage a voice. I'd like to see this child's voice last, and not be gone before she reaches adulthood. A voice isn't like a trumpet or a clarinet that can be replaced if it's damaged. Once a voice is gone, it's gone. A singer can't get a new set of vocal cords.

Mr. you are wrong, her technique is preventing her from damaging her voice. This is her comfort zone, I mean her voice is more powerful than this! I think we don't hear the same voice cause she has a perfect pitch and her vibrato is so amazing for her age! Bravo Ms. Evancho!

Hi, This song is nice but hardly is a showcase of her talents and range. It's a pity that It get's trotted out so regularly. If they want her to do this song, she should be allowed to do at least one other, so that she can really do her stuff.
