Most North Hills Grads Stick Close To Home When Choosing Colleges

CCAC, Pitt, and Penn State are the three most popular destinations for North Hills Grads.

Most members of the the North Hills class of 2012 won't be going far from home to continue their education.

73 students are enrolled at the Community College of Allegheny County.

31 students each will be attending either the University of Pittsburgh to Penn State University.

20 North Hills grads are enrolled at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, 12 more at Duquesne University. LaRoche College and Slippery Rock University are not far behind with 11 students each.

What is good news for parents, is that many members of the class of 2012 have earned scholarship money. $3,396,022 according to North Hills Senior High Principal John Kreider.

The Patch might want to revise the line immediately following the headline... "CCAC, Pitt, and Penn State are the two most popular destinations for North Hills Grads." CCAC, Pitt and Penn State make THREE, not two, destinations.
