Update: Victim in McCandless Fatal Accident is Son of West View Police Chief
The accident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The son of West View Police Borough's police chief was killed Sunday night in a rollover accident in the southbound lane of Route 19, just after the split with McKnight Road in McCandless.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office said Jeffrey Fromlak, 26, died after his car rolled into a grassy median.
Fromlak is the son of West View Police Chief and Borough Manager Bruce Fromlak.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
