Pittsburgh Wealthiest Zip Codes: Where Do North Hills Neighborhoods Fall on List?

The Pittsburgh Business Times compiled a list of the top 50 wealthiest zip codes in the Pittsburgh area by examining median incomes.
The zip code 15237, which includes Ross and McCandless, made the list at no. 22 with a median income of $66,380, according to the Business Times.
The zip code 15229, which includes West View, was not among the top 50.
With a median income of $121,466, Cranberry is included in the no.1 wealthiest zip code, Warrendale.
Here are the top 10 wealthiest zip codes:
- 15086 - Warrendale (Marshall and Cranberry)
- 15015 - Bradford Woods
- 15241 - Upper St. Clair
- 15090 - Wexford (Marshall)
- 16046 - Mars (Adams)
- 15367 - Venetia (Peters Township)
- 16066 - Cranberry
- 15238 - Fox Chapel, O'Hara, Blanox
- 15051 - Indianola
- 15668 - Murrysville

I don't understand why it was necessary to put together an article that perpetuates the differences in economic prosperity where we live. I feel it just adds to the "class" mentality. Do we really need that in our communities?

What kills me is that my husband works for Westinghouse Electric, he's IN CHINA for 4 years, our residence is in Penn Hills, we pay school tax in Penn Hills, and yet Cranberry is collecting a school tax from his paycheck. Talk about taxation without representation.
