Last Day To Vote! Reader's Choice: Where Is Your Favorite Ice Cream Store In The North Hills?
Where do you go for a cool treat?
Whether you prefer an ice cream cone, a milk shake, a sundae, or maybe frozen yogurt, there’s nothing like a cool treat on a hot summer night.
So where do you go for ice cream?
In the North Hills there are plenty of options, including the Isaly’s on Perry Highway, the Dairy Queen stores on either Babcock Boulevard, Perry Highway, or inside Ross Park Mall. Or perhaps your favorite place is Bruster’s on Lowries Run road or Kool Cones on Perry Highway.
We’ve put a list of nominations into a poll for your vote.
And if there’s a place we’ve missed, let us know by posting a comment and we will add it to the poll.
You will be able to vote until Noon on Friday. We will then announce the winner.

Frank's Pizza & Chicken on Rochester Road at the former Sweet Licks location. They need to work on the name but the ice cream is great...

Kevin, didn't know they sold ice cream. We added Frank's Chicken and Pizza to the poll. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'd second that, JAB. I have been going there on occasion with my family. Just went in Labor Day weekend and for the same price or less than I paid at Brewsters (see my comment below), I had a big dish of ice cream about 4 or 5 times the size of the piddly scoop I received at Brusters at intersection of Ingomar/Perry Hwy. Any Given Sundae beats them hands down.

Not Bruster's at Ingomar/Perry Hwy. I paid nearly $3 per cone for my daughter, my wife, and myself and their scoop size was literally about 3 teaspoons of ice cream. I will never go back there again. For nearly $9, I'll take my money elsewhere.

Bruster's in Ross Township (Lowries Run Road) is absolutely the best. Their customer service is always great (every time I go the employees are smiling and so happy), and their ice cream scoops are always generous, delicious and well worth the money!
