Renovated Warehouse, Office Space Replaces Former West Penn Billiard in Ross

Developers are currently seeking tenants.

After major renovations, a new office showroom and warehouse will open at the site of the old West Penn Billiard and Trophy at 3221 Babcock Boulevard in Ross Township.

The West Penn Billiard showroom was torn earlier this week. The store closed in mid-August, 2011 after owner George Leon filed for bankruptcy.

Leon purchased the property with his wife, Anette, in 1988, according to Allegheny County property records. ESB bank bought it in November 2011 for $1,806 and sold it to Lockamp Plaza LLC for $750,000 in August 2012.

The 2012 market value of the 2.89-acre property, according to the Allegheny county real estate web site, is $1,081,900.

The new owners are currently seeking tenants for the 15,000 square foot office and warehouse space which is located behind the old billiard showroom.
