Reward Offered for Vandals Who Spray-Painted Wall Near North Hills High School

The vandalism was discovered early on the first day of school.

The North Hills school district is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of vandals who spray-painted a retaining wall near the senior high cafeteria early Monday.

"School officials noticed the vandalism when staff arrived for the first day of school and documented it with photos," said Amanda Hartle, district communications coordinator. "They filed a police report with the Ross Township Police Department, who are now involved with the investigation."

Cleaning crews quickly cleaned and power-washed the paint from the wall.

The district is asking anyone with information to contact the Ross Township Police Department at 412-931-9070 or North Hills Senior High Principal John Kreider at 412-318-1402.

These knuckleheads are lucky to just have a bounty on their heads: there are probably some adults that would take offense to their actions has the been caught in the act.
