Ever since Tuff Sheds moved out more than a year ago, the building at 7975 McKnight Road in Ross Township has been vacant.
The 22,564 square foot lot is tucked into the hillside, below the Shoppes at Northway. Years ago, a gas station had been located there.
According to the Allegheny County real estate web site, the building and lot are valued at $250,000. It is owned by Frank J. Demor and is currently for lease through Ruby Realty Company.

This would be ideal for an ice cream stand. I know a few had mentioned placing one in the former auto service spaces further south on McKnight, but this space seems even better given its size and parking capabilities. This also allows the other space to easily become a restaurant (the lots may need to be combined).
