Wayne Jones Out as Ross Township Manager

No explanation given for Jones' departure.

Wayne Jones is no longer the manager of Ross Township.

Ross commissioner Dan DeMarco confirmed the news Tuesday morning, without further explanation.

"It's a personal matter which was discussed in executive session, and we don't discuss those matters publicly," said DeMarco.

Jones has not been reached for comment.  A receptionist at the Ross municipal building said he was on vacation this week.

That's a shame. Wayne is a good man with a level head on his shoulders and always wanted what was best for the community. It is odd that this is the second manager in 5 years that was forced out. Makes me think the problem isn't the manager.

Don't they have to vote on it in public?
