Actually, this was taken in the months after West View Park was torn down, and West View Plaza had yet to be built. The photographer was standing on Center Avenue.. to the left is where the senior high rise would be built.

I took the opportunity to look at that picture again late last night, and thought that it might have been the former site of West View Park. The hill in the background looked so familiar, but I just couldn't place it. Thank's for featuring these old pictures of our home town.

Thank you Carol for reading North Hills Patch. I'm finding the readers are pretty sharp, so it's a real challenge to find a picture that might not be recognizable right away :)
