The Northland Public Library Foundation partners with ZumZum, www.polishpierogi.com for a Pierogi Sale for its January Bread for Books fundraiser. From January 8 through January 22 prepaid orders for a selection of 10 varieties of deep frozen pierogi will be taken in the Library. Order enevelopes are available at all information desks. Pierogi orders can be picked up in the Library on February 2, from 10am to 2pm. The more pierogi you buy, the more the Library will earn in donations!
Get a taste of the delectable dumplings as well as other Polish treats when Pittsburgh's first and only Pierogi Truck comes to the Library on Tuesday, January 15 from 2pm to 7pm. Lynne Szarnicki will be dishing up her hot pierogi and donating 15% of all truck food sales to the Library.

More About Northland Public Library
Northland Library serves Ross Township as well as the communities of Bradford Woods, Franklin Park, Marshall and McCandless. It is both a municipal authority and a non-profit and is governed by a seven-member board made of members from each of the funding municipalities. All residents of Allegheny County are able to borrow from the library.
