Students in kindergarten through eighth grade and under 15 years of age are invited to test their spelling skills in Northland Public Library's very first spelling bee sponsored in conjunction with the Wexford Homeschoolers in association with the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
All students in the age category are eligible to participate,
they do not need to be homeschoolers. Certificates will be awarded to all along with prizes for the winners. The top winner will have a chance to go to the regional spelling bee!

More About Northland Public Library
Northland Library serves Ross Township as well as the communities of Bradford Woods, Franklin Park, Marshall and McCandless. It is both a municipal authority and a non-profit and is governed by a seven-member board made of members from each of the funding municipalities. All residents of Allegheny County are able to borrow from the library.
