We Build LEGO Robotics: Adventure Stories
Ross Township Department of Public Works, 1000 Ross Municipal Rd, Pittsburgh, PA | Get Directions »
$45.00
Combining the art of LEGO® building with computer technology, your child will enjoy bringing their airplane, crane, or sailboat to life while being introduced to robotics! Each week, they will build a mechanism that is then connected to a laptop for a rewarding, interactive experience. Children experience hands on building while gaining an introduction to robotics (laptops provided by Brick Play Studios).
These programs are based on the established LEGO® Education curriculum which aims to broaden your child’s understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
This program will not only enrich your child from an educational perspective, but also reinforce teamwork. Children work in pairs, using a “building buddy” system. This type of cooperative learning strengthens communication skills and also builds self-esteem .
Ages 7-11
Saturdays: 12/8, 12/15, 12/22
Time: 11:00am until 12:00pm
Cost is only $45 for all 3 sessions!
