Benedictine Sisters Offer Stations of the Cross Service

A Lenten concert will be offered Friday, March 23, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel, followed by the special service.

Come, join the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh for a special Stations of the Cross Service at 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, in the Monastery Chapel at 4530 Perrysville Ave.

This may be one of the highlights of your Lenten devotions.

The prayers are based on themes of peace and justice culled from the writing of Pope John Paul II and arranged by Sister Mary Catherine Stana. A prayerful mood will be created through the use of Sister Dolores Conley’s hand sculpted Stations of the Cross and the music of Marguerite Link, flute, and Bill Brinzer, keyboards.
