North Hills Comic Book Club Raises Hundreds to Fight Child Abuse

A total of 16 club members attended the fifth annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk in North Park.

North Hills High School’s Comic Book Club recently raised several hundred dollars for the Superhero Foundation to fight against child abuse.

The Superhero Foundation was formed in January, 2008 to fight child abuse, drive awareness for Child Abuse Prevention and support the organizations that rehabilitate and heal the victims of abuse. Their mission is to empower these children with the hope and tools needed to succeed in life as they fight to win this emotional and physical battle.
