Each week, your child will be presented with a real-world problem and guided through a creative solution. Using pulleys, levers, gears, wheels and axles, they will build a machine.  Next they will make a prediction about how it will work and then put it to the test!  This fun program provides boys and girls with hands-on learning of concepts such as balance, buoyancy, and energy.

This program will not only enrich your child from an educational perspective, but also reinforce teamwork.  Children work in pairs, using a “building buddy” system. This type of cooperative learning strengthens communication skills and also builds self-esteem .

Join us each week to build machines such as Seesaws, Spinning tops, Rafts, Car Launchers, and more using DUPLO® bricks!  The machines built during this program change periodically so your child can attend this program more than once.

Children do not take the machines home.
