In the film based on Neil Gordon's novel of the same name, Redford plays Jim Grant, a Vietnam-era fugitive wanted on murder charges for a robbery that went wrong in 1974. When a young newspaper reporter (Shia LaBeouf) starts pursuing the story, Grant goes on the run with his daughter, Isabel, in tow.

“Fundamentally, the film is about what a man will do for his child, what a man will do to have the love of his daughter preserved,” Redford was quoted as saying in an article by The Hollywood Reporter

In a video posted on YouTube, Jackie steps up to the camera at the red carpet event with a big smile and "Hi" as reporters are directed to group together to ask her questions.

Q: What's the biggest favor you been ever asked to do?

Jackie: Actually, my biggest favor would be this movie ... and it's something I really loved.

Q: It was a big favor? They asked you and said we really want you in the film?

A: Yes.

Q: Excellent. What do you do for free time?

A: I jump on a trampoline with my family. I sew dresses and pillows and I play with my pets and my friends. And also I do school, plenty of that.

Q: What's next on your to-do list?

A: What's next on my to-do list is touring and I'm going to be releasing very soon a new CD called Songs From the Silver Screen and I'm very excited about that.

Q: And a producer you want to work with next for music?

A: I don't know. (Said with a smile and a giggle.)

Q: So many, you've worked with all the top. You going to find some new young fresh one, right?

A: I guess. (She laughs.)

Q: What's your most memorable part of working on the film?

A: Whenever it was really, really cold and rainy, we'd huddle together to stay warm.

Q: Did you get to see any parts of Vancouver?

A: I got to see the museum and it was really, really, really cute because there's tons of seals.

Q: How was Robert (Redford) as a dad on the set?

A: A great dad, actually. He's very sweet and nice.

Q: Did he give you any advice for acting or dealing with red carpets?

A: All I can say is that his advice was very, very helpful and something I will never forget.
