Tickets are Available for Sewickley House Tour Set for Friday and Saturday

The 35th biennial tour, presented by Child Health Association of Sewickley, includes a glimpse inside of six homes featuring one-of-a-kind furniture, antiques, original works of art, and decorating touches by renowned interior designers.

The will play host to visitors on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5, for the 35th Sewickley House Tour, presented by the . 

The tour runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday for bus and self-guided walking tours and from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday for a self-guided candlelight tour. 

On Saturday, self-guided walking tours run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. while, as in years past, a bus tour by will be available with several pick-up locations throughout Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

Six homes representing a bygone era, as well as some contemporary classics, await the viewing public at this biennial event, one of Child Health's major fundraisers benefitting children in Western Pennsylvania.

For two days every other year, local homeowners offer a glimpse into the area’s gracious past or a look at state-of-the-art design and function. The homes on tour are chosen for their architectural craftsmanship and elegance, as well as their historic importance.

Homes feature one-of-a-kind furniture, antiques, original works of art, and decorating touches by renowned interior designers. The sixth home is located in .

“We are delighted to have six truly amazing homes on tour this year and look forward to sharing the beauty and history of the Sewickley Valley with visitors,” Janet Kovac, Child Health president, said in a news release.  “The House Tour is a major source of funding that enables us to provide grants for children’s organizations in western Pennsylvania and we are grateful for the support of the community and the generosity of the homeowners in opening their homes to the public for this event.”
