4 McCandless Crossing Projects Approved This Week

More than a half dozen restaurants, a Dick's Sporting Goods, a Homegoods Store, a Cinemark theater, and other, smaller shops will be part of the development.

McCandless Town Council voted Monday to approve development plans for four more businesses that will be part of the final, east-side, phase of McCandless Crossing.

  1. Subdivision plan for 52 Ryan townhouses to be built along Cumberland Road between McKnight Road and Babcock Boulevard.
  2. Land development application for Bonefish Grill.
  3. Land development application for Carrabba's Italian Grill.
  4. Land development application for Dick's Sporting Goods
Construction on both restaurants, the Dick's, the townhouses, and a Cinemark theater is expected to begin in late August or earlier September, according to AdVenture Project Manager Bob McGurk.

McGurk says more than 100 names are on the waiting list for the townhouses.
