Pop Group 'We the Kings' to Perform Friday at Ross Park Mall

In 2008, the band was nominated for the 'Best New Artist' award at the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2010, its single, 'We'll Be A Dream,' peaked at No. 23 on the U.S. Pop Billboard chart.

We The Kings, a pop band from Bradenton, FL, will perform free during an event from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 29 at the Ross Park Mall, Simon Property Group Inc. announced Thursday.

The band will be on stage at about 6 p.m. 

In 2008, the band was nominated for the “Best New Artist” award at the MTV Video Music Awards. We The Kings toured on the Warped tour in 2008, 2009 and 2010, and in 2010 its single, ‘We’ll Be A Dream,” peaked at No. 23 on the U.S. Pop Billboard chart.

The concert in the mall's center court is part of the Simon dTour Live, a concert tour in its eighth year that produces free performances in malls across the country. Coca-Cola and "Glee" are series sponsors. There will be an interactive “Glee Karaoke” booth for fans of all ages to "gleek out" to their favorite songs, compete in "Glee" trivia, and win prizes.
