Norman J. Roos Sr.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Alexis Church.
Norman J. Roos Sr., 85, of Wexford, died Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Born and raised in Bellevue, he was the son of the late Edmund Nicholas and Flora (Vogel) Roos. He is survived by his brother, Edmund, of Baton Rouge, LA; and his sister, Mary (Roos) Pepmeyer, of Glenshaw. He was the husband of Marilou (Holdcroft) Roos; father of Norman Roos Jr., Don Roos, David Roos, Ellen Swarts and Amy Flemming; grandfather of Mary Kate and Joey Roos, Eliza and Jonah Bucatinsky, Crysta and Brian Swarts and Grayson and Gus Flemming.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul, Alan, and Lewis Roos; and sister, Anne (Roos) Wagner.

After a long career with IBM, Roos retired back to Pittsburgh in 1992. He was actively involved with the Knights of Columbus, St. Alexis Catholic Church and North Catholic High School Class of '44.
