Robert C. Bacher
A longtime member of Highland Country Club and past president, Bacher was also a former member of the board of directors of Suburban General Hospital and a longtime volunteer at the St. Teresa Parish Festival.
Robert C. Bacher, 88, of Ross, died Saturday, April 7, 2012.
He was the husband for 64 years to Faith A. (Geipel) Bacher; father of Barbara Ann Bacher, Jeanne Audrey Bacher and the late William Robert Bacher (survived by wife, Diane); grandfather of Jennifer (Rich) Eberst, Brian (Cyrill) Bacher and Rebecca (Dan) Whiting; and great-grandfather of Caralynn, Juliana, Jonah and Noah.
Bacher was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a retired vice president of operations for Bell Atlantic after 42 years of service. He was a graduate of Penn State University.
