Dump Truck Nearly Brings Down Utility Lines in Ross Neighborhood

No one was hurt in the incident in the 700 block of Sunderland Drive.

A dump truck, which had just dropped load of dirt for a plumbing job near the intersection of Sunderland and Marmion Drives in Ross Township, started to pull down overhead utility lines as the truck was pulling away.

The driver stopped, with the truck's still elevated bed touching the lower lines which carry telephone and cable TV.

No one was hurt, but the area was blocked off until utility crews could secure the lines, and the truck could be removed.
