Police are asking for help in identifying a woman in relation to the thefts.
Franklin Park Police are investigating thefts from numerous vehicles in the parking lot of the Baierl Family YMCA.
Police said thieves targeted unlocked vehicles and took credit cards from purses from cars parked in the lot at 2565 Nicholson Road.
Stolen credit cards were then used to purchase expensive items at local stores including Macy’s and several Best Buys, police said.

Police have released a surveillance photo of a woman and need help identifying the person. Anyone with information is asked to call the Franklin Park Police at (412) 473-3056.
Police are also reminding motorists to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of view.
