Police: Four Intruders Break Into Ross Woman's Apartment

Police said the suspects took nothing, and did not harm the woman.

Ross Township police  are looking for four men in their late teens or early 20's who broke into a townhouse on Hilands Place around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

"The woman who lives there was awakened by a noise, and discovered the four suspects in her living room," said Ross Police Sgt. Benjamin Dripps. "They told the woman they were looking for someone else, perhaps a prior tenant, and some type of property."

Dripps said it's also possible the four simply got the wrong address. It's not clear exactly what the men were looking for.

Dripps said the woman convinced the four to leave after insisting that she did not know the man they said they work looking for. The suspects did not take anything and the woman was not harmed.

The suspects, two white, two African American, are all in their late teens or early 20's and were wearing hoodies and bandanas. Detectives believe the men may have left in a dark-colored Jeep.

Dripps said it appeared they broke into the apartment through an unlocked window.

It’s not known if they carried any weapons.
