Police Identify Ross Township Woman as Body Found in Allegheny River

A woman discovered early Wednesday morning under the Roberto Clemente Bridge is from Ross Township.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified a woman found Thursday morning in the Allegheny River as Christine Hune, according to news reports in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, KDKA and the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

The 46-year-old woman is from Ross Township. 

According to WTAE, she was found near the Del Monte Building, near the Roberto Clemente Bridge, wearing a backpack. Police are still investigating.
