Police Search for Man Who Sexually Attacked Woman on Johanna Drive in Ross
Suspect is not found during a door-to-door search of the apartment building and the surrounding area with the Ross K-9 unit as well as an aerial search after the incident was reported Saturday morning.
A woman was sexually assaulted about 9:30 a.m. Saturday after being approached by a man at the Woodhawk Club Apartment complex on Johanna Drive, said.
The woman, who lives in the apartment complex, was outside when she was approached by man wearing a dark hooded and zipped sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and either a ski mask or a knit cap, police said. He showed a handgun and forced her to return to her apartment with him, where he assaulted her, police said.

The woman's identity is not being released because of the nature of the crime. She was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
Police searched the area, going door-to-door in the apartment building and the surrounding area with the Ross K-9 unit. They also conducted an aerial search, but they did not find the suspect.
