Ross Police Release Photos of Shoplifting Ring That's Twice Struck McKnight Rd. Best Buy

Police expect the same suspects to return sometime before the end of the holiday shopping season.

Ross Township police  have released surveillance photos of what they believe is an organized group of shoplifters, which have twice hit the Best Buy at 4801 McKnight Road.

The group slowly and methodically collected GPS Units and graphing calculators on Sept. 22 and Nov. 11. Then, one of the shoplifters would distract a security employee, while the others walked out with the merchandise, police said.

"We believe the suspects are from out of state, traveling along the east coast," said Sgt. Benjamin Dripps of the Ross Township Police Department. "At least four suspects are involved, all of them white, middle-aged men. They have been seen driving off in a white SUV, possibly an older model Ford Expedition."

Dripps suspects this group has struck other stores in the area.

"It is our belief that release of this information now, will uncover additional victims," he said. "We also think they will likely return to the area before the end of the Christmas holidays."

If you have any information about these cases, call Ross police at 412-931-9070.

Stereotyping white middle aged criminals, this is racist and the NAACP should throw a rally. LOL
