Ross Township Police Arrest Couple After Holding Man Against His Will

According to the release, a 911 call had been received by the Ross Township police from a man who said he was being held against his will in a vehicle as it traveled north on McKnight Road.
Police were able to locate and stop the vehicle. Police said they subdued the driver with pepper spray because he resisted attempts to arrest him.

The driver, Jordan Osheroff, 21, of the North Side area of Pittsburgh, is being held in the Allegheny County Jail on charges of unlawful restraint, conspiracy, resisting arrest and driving under the influence.
A passenger in the vehicle, Rachel High, 20, also of the North Side, was charged with conspiracy, underage drinking, unlawful restraint, and public drunkenness.

Detective Brian Kohlhepp of the Ross Township Police Department said the matter is still under investigation.
According to District Judge Richard G. Opiela’s office, Osheroff and High are scheduled to appear for a hearing at 8 a.m. on September 14th.
