Ross Township Police Blotter: Aug. 9 - Aug. 15, 2011

Monday, Aug. 15

on McKnight Road reported its sign was damaged sometime between 6 p.m. Aug. 8 and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Friday, Aug. 12

A juvenile was arrested after a 65-year-old woman reported a non-forced burglary of a residence along Transvaal Avenue between 11:30 a.m. Thursday and 11:30 p.m. that same day. A Play Station 3, 11 Play Station games and a Play Station headset were recovered.

Thursday, Aug. 11

at 600 Stevens Drive reported that a GE air conditioner unit was missing at 11:29 a.m.

A woman, unknown age, will receive charges in the mail for possession of marijuana after a police officer found her in a vehicle parked beside the at 253 Sixth Avenue at about 10:36 p.m.

A 57-year-old woman reported a non-forced burglary at a residence along East Orchard Drive sometime between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Missing items included a white gold ring with three ½ carat diamonds, a yellow gold ring, a ruby stone with a diamond, yellow gold hoop earrings and a yellow gold necklace.

Wednesday, Aug. 10

A 56-year-old man reported that a tricycle was taken from his yard along Fairley Road sometime Saturday.

Tuesday, Aug. 9

A 27-year-old man reported that his car was egged overnight in the area of Bascom Avenue.
