Ross Township Police Blotter: Motorist Damages Mailboxes along Amity Road

The following information was supplied by the Ross Township Police Department and covers incidents from Oct. 11 to Oct. 16.

Sunday, Oct. 16

A 26-year-old woman reported that the driver’s side window of her vehicle had been broken sometime between 3 p.m. and 4:48 p.m. The vehicle had been parked along Babcock Boulevard.

Friday, Oct. 14

An 81-year-old man reported vandalism to his vehicle, which was parked along Cheryl Drive.

Employees at at McIntyre Square Drive reported the theft of a surround sound system valued at $399.

Thursday, Oct. 13

A 39-year-old woman reported at 2:16 a.m. that a burgundy SUV drove through her yard along Amity Road and damaged her mailbox. The vehicle had also damaged a barrier at the northern end of Amity Road at the intersection of Thompson Run Road, where bridge construction work was under way. Three other mailboxes along the road also were damaged. The vehicle was not located.

Tuesday, Oct. 11

A 49-year-old man reported that his mailbox had been stolen from his residence on Schlag Court.
