Sandusky Convicted On 45 Of 48 Counts
The former Penn State assistant football coach could be sentenced to hundreds of years in prison.
Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was led from the Centre County Courthouse in handcuffs Friday night, after being found guilty on 45 of 48 counts of child sex abuse.
The Centre Daily Times, as well as WPXI, The Associated Press, The Huffington Post and numerous other local and national news organizations reported the news within minutes of the verdict's release.
Television shots of the courthouse showed a crowd outside cheering when the verdict was made public just after 10 p.m.

A sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled, according to the report from Centre Daily Times.
