Tarentum Man Convicted in Deadly Ross DUI Crash
The accident, on Super Bowl Sunday 2011, killed suspect's girlfriend.
An Allegheny County judge today convicted Brett Saltrick, 21, of Tarentum, of homicide by vehicle and DUI in connection with the accident that killed his 21-year-old girlfriend, WTAE TV reported.
Neither he nor his family members commented after Judge Tom Flaherty announced the verdict, WTAE TV reported.
say Saltrick lost control of his vehicle, and struck another headed the opposite way, on Feb 6, 2011.

Saltrick's passenger, Bryanna Riedel, 21, of Wheeling, WV, was critically injured in the accident and died two days later. She was a Duquesne University pharmacy student.
The driver and passenger in the other car were not seriously hurt.

Saltrick's blood alcohol level was .168 at the time of the accident, according to police.
Saltrick will be allowed to stay on house arrest until his sentencing in October, WTAE-TV reported.
