Expect Delays on I-79 for Overhead Sign Inspections from Wexford to Southpointe

Short-term single-lane closures and traffic shifts will occur during daytime hours.

Expect short-term delays on Interstate 79 for overhead sign safety inspections starting throughout the week, PennDOT District 11 announced.

The delays will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, weather permitting, in various locations along the entire I-79 corridor in Allegheny County—between Exit 73 Wexford and Exit 48 Southpointe.

The intermittent, short-term single-lane closures and traffic shifts will occur as crews inspect signs.
