How North Hills' Congressman Voted on Bill Limiting NSA's Surveillance
The bill failed to pass in the U.S. House on Wednesday.
U.S. Rep. Keith Rothfus (R-Sewickley), who represents the North Hills, was among the slight minority voting for legislation that would limit National Security Agency's data collection.
If it had passed, the bill would have blocked the NSA from collecting vast amounts of phone records, which has been under controversy since Edward Snowden leaked secret documents describing the surveillance operations.
