Ross Expects to Hire New Township Manager Before End of Year

An interim manager has been running the day to day operations since former manager Wayne Jones was fired in August.

Ross Township Board of Commissioners President Grant Montgomery expects a new township manager to be on board by the first of the year.

"We've narrowed our search down to three to four fantastic candidates," said Montgomery. "After another round of vetting, I expect the board to make a decision by the end of the year."

Unlike former manager Wayne Jones, who was fired in August, the new township manager will not serve as finance director.
