West View Borough Reappoints Doerfler to Zoning Board, Appoints Fromlak to CONNECT

Council reappoints Steele to Civil Service Commission and Recreation Board.

West View Borough Council voted unanimously to appoint members to various committees Wednesday at its regular meeting. They include:

* Police Chief Bruce Fromlak to CONNECT, an organization that promotes cooperation and collaboration between the City of Pittsburgh and the municipalities that share a common border with the city.

* James Doerfler to the Zoning Hearing Board for another three-year term. The appointment is through Aug. 1, 2014.

* Councilwoman Kimberly Steele to the Civil Service Commission for another six-year term. The new appointment is through Aug. 1, 2017.

* Steele to the Recreation Board for another five-year term. The new appointment runs through Aug. 1, 2016.

Councilman Barry Schell was absent. Steele abstained from voting on her own appointments.
