Central Catholic Shuts Out North Hills 14-0

The Vikings handed the Indians their first loss of the young season.

Senior fullback Leo Loughery rushed for two touchdowns to power Central Catholic to a 14-0 shutout of Friday night at Gesling Stadium on the Carnegie Mellon University of Campus.

The Vikings are 2-0, both shutouts, while North Hills falls to 1-1.

Running back Jordan Blackmon, who scored against Penn Trafford, spent most of the night on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

It was a game so lacking in style, flash and aesthetically pleasing offensive football that the halftime performance from the North Hills marching band might well have been the most organized and electrifying event of the night, the Post Gazette reported.
