North Hills finished sixth in Class AAA and advanced along with six other teams to the statewide tournament. This is the first trip for the team as WPIAL and PIAA classified and recognized cheerleading as a sport this season.

Each team was graded on the cheer portion and a music segment of their performances. Teams were scored out of a possible 100 points on categories such as partner stunts, pyramids, tumbling, presentation of material and execution.
