The lectures are offered from October through March and focus on science and engineering topics. For the past 56 years, students have attended the institute to gain insight into STEM careers in engineering and science. They network with professionals and interact with students from different schools who also have the same abilities and interests. The institute is sponsored by Westinghouse Electric Company.
