North Hills School Board to Vote Monday on Proposed Changes in School Start & Dismissal Times

Superintendent Dr. Patrick Mannarino argues that by slightly modifying the hours of the school day at all grade levels, the district could save up to $464,300 in transportation costs.

The North Hills school board will vote Monday on proposed changes to the bell and busing schedule starting in the 2013-14 school year.

The legislative meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the North Hills Junior High LGI Room.

 each year due to the elimination of six to 10 buses, aid in preserving the district's quality academic programs, create a true North Hills Middle School for seventh and eighth-grade students and rectify potential safety risks on the secondary schools campus.
