North Hills Sports Hall of Fame Nominations Accepted Through April 1

The North Hills School District is accepting nominations for its 2013 Sports Hall of Fame. Nominations must be received no later than April 1. 

This year marks the 18th year of the establishment of the district’s Sports Hall of Fame. Created in 1995, it honors individuals who have distinguished themselves in athletics during and/or beyond their years at North Hills Senior High School or the former West View High School. 

Current inductees have brought pride and recognition to the district’s athletic programs and to the community as former players, coaches, administrators and supporters. 

Inductees will be announced in June and recognized during the Annual Sports Hall of Fame dinner in the fall. Former inductees are encouraged to attend. Nomination forms are available on the district’s website www.nhsd.net or by calling the Athletics & Activities Office at 412-318-1438. 

Completed nomination forms should be forwarded to Activities Coordinator Chelle Zimmerman at North Hills Senior High School, 53 Rochester Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.
