North Hills Student Section: What Will They Think of Next?

In each of the Indians two home football games, the student section has come up with unique ways to entertain and fire up the crowd at Martorelli Stadium.

What do Moses and dominos have in common?

Each were part of the theme of this year's North Hills student section, nicknamed "The Tribe's," celebration at the Indian's home football games at Martorelli Stadium.

Three weeks ago, "Moses" parted the "Red Sea" of fans during the North Hills - Central Catholic game. Click here to see the video

Friday night, it was the "Operation Domino" a synchronized student knockdown started and dreamed up by Homecoming Queen Jessica Porter. Video here.

"I think it's great," said a clearly amused North Hills Superintendent Dr. Patrick Mannarino. "Their energy and enthusiasm is amazing and clearly contagious."

High School Principal John Kreider has caught it. He was seen Friday roaming the sidelines armed with a t-shirt gun, which he would periodically fire into the stands, much to the crowd's delight. (see attached video)

So what does the student section have planned for the remaining two home games on Oct. 18 vs Pine-Richland and Oct. 25 vs North Allegheny?

No one is saying just yet, organizers like to keep that information to themselves for now.
