This Memorial Day, join us in honoring a local hero

As I mentioned in a , in Laurel Gardens will be honoring a fallen Marine this memorial day. The months have flown by and now Memorial Day is almost here! After our post's  at the Laurel Gardens WWII monument, we will march back to our post for a special dedication ceremony. During this ceremony, our post will be officially renamed in honor of Marine Sgt. Joseph D. Caskey.

Our Memorial Day ceremonies are always very uplifting for the members of our post, local patriots, and the community as a whole. Join us as we first honor fallen veterans from all wars, and then as we especially honor the memory of our local hero, Sgt. Joseph D. Caskey.

Our Memorial Day ceremony begins at Noon. The post dedication will begin at approximately 12:45 pm.

This event is open to the public. Parking will be available at North Hills High School and a shuttle service will be provided for those who may need assistance.
