North Hills Defeats Penn-Trafford in Season Opener

The win was the first for Pat Carey as head coach.

The North Hills Indians delivered rookie head coach Pat Carey his first win with a 21-14 win at Penn-Trafford Friday night.

Quarterback play was key in this victory. Jake Bruder completed 7 of 9 passes for 18 yards and rushed for 75 of his own, including a 1-yard touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter for the go-ahead score.

The Indians next host Central Catholic, which crushed Shaler 65-3 Friday night.
