With two games left to play before championship games start the week of Nov. 4, the North Hills Indians varsity football team is 5-3 overall and 2-2 within its section of the WPIAL Quad A conference.
Friday's game against Seneca Valley, which is 5-2 overall and tied with North Hills in its section with a record of 2-2, starts at 7:30 p.m. at .
North Hills is currently ranked fifth in the Quad A conference, while Seneca Valley is ranked fourth.
The top four teams in each section as of Oct. 31st will qualify for playoff spots.
For its final game before the playoffs North Hills will play its main rival, the so far unbeaten North Allegheny Tigers, on Oct. 28 at Newman Stadium.
Current WPIAL Quad A rankings are:
1. North Allegheny with an overall record of 7-0 and a conference record of 4-0.
2. Shaler with an overall record of 5-2 and a conference record of 3-1.
3. Erie McDowell with an overall record of 5-2 and a conference record of 3-2.
4. Seneca Valley with an overall record of 5-2 and a conference record of 2-2.
5. North Hills with an overall record of 4-3 and a conference record of 2-2.
6. Pine-Richland with an overall record of 1-6 and a conference record of 1-4.
7. Butler with an overall record of 2-5 and a conference record of 0-4.
