Free Swimming Lessons At North Park Pool

The county is offering four sessions in July.

and residents, if you ever wanted to teach your child how to swim, next week is the perfect time to start. 

The Allegheny County Parks Department will provide free swimming lessons at the North Park pool from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in July. 

The classes are open to children five and older. Pre-registration is not required.

Classes for individuals with last names beginning with “A” through “K will start Tuesday, July and will also meet on July 10, 17 and 24. 

Classes for individuals with last names beginning with “L” through “Z” will start on Thursday July 5, and will also meet on July 12,19 and 26.
