Patch Pet: Shy Miranda Marie Loves Affection and Playtime

Her previous owner passed away and she ended up back at Animal Friends.

Poor Miranda Marie has gone through a lot of changes recently.

Her previous owner passed away and, even though she was lucky enough to be taken in by a family friend, she did not get along with the cats in his home and ended up back at Animal Friends.

Miranda Marie has been known to be a bit aloof, but that doesn't mean she won't appreciate some quality time with you! Swinging a feather toy or putting down some cat nip is a quick way to get Miranda Marie to perk up.

She is a little shy around men but we're sure she will come around if you spend some time with her. We feel that she would really flourish in a home with no other cats and older children.

Her front paws are declawed, so if you (or your landlord) are holding out for a declawed cat, consider Miranda Marie!

And even though from time-to-time she’ll sneak off for a little quality time alone, she’ll always return for some affection and calm playtime with you.
