Sister Linda Larkman Makes Final Profession of Monastic Vows

In making monastic vows Saturday, Sister Linda promised to live the life prescribed in the Rule of St. Benedict—a life devoted to prayer, community, and ministry to others.

Sister Linda Larkman, of Cleveland, OH, made final profession of monastic vows Saturday, May 12, at Vespers, an Evening Prayer of Praise, in the chapel of the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh in Ross.

In making monastic vows, Sister Linda promised to live the life prescribed in the Rule of St. Benedict—a life devoted to prayer, community, and ministry to others.

Sister Benita DeMatteis, OSB, Prioress, received Sister Linda’s vows and presented her with the ring that marks her perpetual commitment as a vowed member of the community.
